It was truly awesome to spend the day among so many talented, creative and inspired artists plus the *thousands* of patrons and supporters of handmade goods. It was just the kind of day I needed after enduring that grueling week of political circus acts and the inherent frustrations and anger and sadness that follows. My art is one of the things I do for my self care. Because it’s been a while since I did an show, I almost forgot how people find my work silly and humorous, and many laugh out loud! Being being able to inspire giggles is such a treat for me because it helps me feel like I do my part in bringing a little light - and so many of us needed that this week.
